The terms you agree to when you order from Tiki Shop. Written to be read, not to be impenetrable — if anything here is unclear, ask us.
This is a homecare catalogue for clients of the clinic. It is not an open online store, and it is not a way to buy professional skincare without seeing a practitioner.
Dr. Spiller, Histolab and Kobido are professional lines. They are formulated to be selected for a particular skin by someone who has examined it, and all three are distributed on that basis — their agreements do not permit open online resale, and we do not do it.
What happens instead is this. Your homecare is discussed during a treatment. Rather than deciding in the room, at the end of an appointment, you can look through what we carry here in your own time. When you've chosen, your order is put aside for your next visit — or brought to you locally if you've run out of something between appointments.
That is the whole purpose of this site: to save you deciding on the spot, and to save you a trip when you run low.
Three things follow from it, and they are deliberate:
If you represent one of these brands and want to discuss how the catalogue is operated, please contact us directly at shop@tikishop.shop — we would rather hear from you than have you wonder.
Tiki Shop is the homecare catalogue of Tiki Massage, a massage and skincare practice in Calgary, Alberta. The two are the same business under one owner.

We are an authorized professional stockist for Dr. Spiller, Histolab and Kobido. Everything we supply is genuine, bought through each brand's Canadian distributor, and handed over sealed and unopened. We do not sell samples, decants, testers or professional back-bar sizes.
Product photographs are representative. Manufacturers occasionally change packaging, and the carton you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photo. Formulations and sizes are as stated.
When you check out, you are making an offer to buy. The sale is complete when we accept it by dispatching your order, and we'll email you a receipt with your order number once payment is confirmed.
Occasionally we may have to decline an order — a product sells out, a price or description was wrong, the delivery address is outside our range, or we cannot verify the payment. If that happens we will contact you and refund you in full. We are not obliged to sell at an incorrectly displayed price.
We supply approved clients in Calgary and area only, for personal use. We don't supply for resale, and we can't make an exception for other parts of Canada — it isn't a shipping limitation, it's how these lines are distributed.
Payments are processed by Square. You enter your card details on Square's own hosted checkout, which means your full card number never reaches this website and we never see it or store it. We receive only confirmation that the payment succeeded, plus the last digits and card brand on the receipt.
Your order is charged in full at checkout. We do not store cards on file or set up recurring charges.
Orders are collected at the clinic. We'll have yours ready at your next appointment, or you can arrange a time to pick it up.
Local delivery within Calgary is available to clients we have already treated in person — it exists so you aren't left without something you use daily between appointments. Your account shows whether delivery is available to you.
Descriptions, skin-type guidance and ingredient lists are provided for information. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor, dermatologist or pharmacist.
A reaction to a product that is not faulty is not grounds for a return of an opened item — see the returns policy. Ask us before you open something if you're uncertain.
Set out in full in our returns and refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: damaged, expired, defective or wrongly supplied items are put right at our cost; unopened products can be returned within 30 days at your cost with a 20% restocking fee; opened products cannot be returned.
Please don't attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at a scale that degrades it, or use it to break the law. Site text, photography and layout belong to us or to the brands we retail, and product names and logos are their trade marks, used as an authorized retailer.
We stand behind what we sell, and we will always put right a product that was faulty, expired, damaged or wrongly supplied.
Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act and the Sale of Goods Act, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Where the law gives you a stronger right than these terms, the law applies.
How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy.
We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that governs it, so the date below is what matters.
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada, and the Alberta courts have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of protections available where you live in Canada.
